But they need more accurate calculators for people in the New World, especially from those who are heavily admixed/Afro-descended.

Did you had African dna relatives on AncestryDNA?
yes, i have alot of african DNA relatives, infact my top 5-6 matches are strongly afro-descended and considered black both in africa and in the new world and anywhere else lol

i both have alot of euro matches and alot of african matches and i guess thats fitting since i am biracial

From which African country are they from? And which ethnicity? Lol I am black and most of my DNA relatives on 23andme and myHeritage are European and American.

And every black person in Africa is black everywhere lol. Just like how every NWB is black everywhere.

their strongest african components are Nigerian, Ghanaian, Cameroon/Congo, Mali, and Benin/Togo from the 5 people ive seen.

most of them have strong bantu components so i assume my african should be somewhere in that range too lol

and lmao, thats weird xD i guess its due to the database of both 23andme and ancestryDNA being predominantly whites, even so my DNA matches are 50/50 white and black, or slightly more black than white

Are they actually from Africa or are they New World Blacks? Because I was specifically talking about Sub-Saharan Africans.

Thanks, Shaquille. I'm going to come clean. I said what I said because I'M THE ONE who hasn't figured out how to interpret the percentage numbers. I figure there are lots of others who are challenged as I am on this. Could you give a brief explanation how to interpret them. I (and probably many others) would be much obliged. Thanks.

In my case I haven't had continental African relatives so far, but the most SSA relative I have is a Cuban that is 99% SSA and 1% Euro.

Continuing with the Gedmatch calcs, here's what the puntDNAL K8 Africa only gives me:
