    Default 23andme X Chromosome Painting?

I know you inherit your X DNA from your maternal side, but I was curious how much ancestry it actually contributed to your autosomal?

Reason I ask, is since my X chromosome is predominately Amerindian, though as you can see in the pictures below, the rest of the chromosomes are fairly mixed.

I'm aware of the historical admixture of Colonial Mexico being mostly Amerindian women, though I also have an Amerindian paternal haplogroup, so I figure my father's side would have quite a lot of Amerindian ancestry as well.

@El Andullero , I think I remember you speaking on this topic once.

    Yellow/Red/Orange - Amerind
    Blue - Euro
    Pink - SSA
    Purple - North African

I don't have an exact %, but I gather it must be a significant chunk of one's ancestry, cuz the majority of my relatives on 23andMe have come up via my maternal side. In my case, most of my European and Amerindian ancestry comes that way, despite the fact that ironically enough my MtDNA is a Sub-Saharan one.

To add more confusion, most of my 23andme matches tend to be harnizos and balanced mestizos. However, on AncestryDNA, most of my matches are castizos and harnizos, with some balanced.

Then when I look at their X chromosome DNA, they also have lot of indigenous, but with fairly decent chunks of Euro and SSA.

That is a hell of an X-chromosome. I need to look into the relevance of the X-chromosome more.
