Like you always say: there isn't an imaginary line around European borders that makes them impossible to overlap with West Asia/North Africa.
Nobody would find his phenotype exotic if you opened a thread: "Classify this Italian."

    I guess ...

but I am not trying to emphasise overlap with europe . I am just posting kurds and portray us the way we look . many people commented on how european overlapping we are and some are also very surprised by the way I look because they have a different idea of how kurds look like but this was clear to me from the beginning because we are one of the most misrepresented and darkwashed people there is (as I often said) and many people also dont have a fucking clue how we even look . add all the trolls (like certain turks who hate us for example) who say untrue things about us and it is no surprise

another thing is also that many older kurdish men are tanned and have mustaches and people like to focus on them when making an opinion lol

Don't know why they think that way, your Kurdish galleries are diverse, you have the Southern Euro looking ones, but also many that would look alien to Europe, so I can't understand why many people in these forums think you're cherrypicking them, it's stupid of their part.
I mention when there is an overlap with Southern Europe because I'm of Iberian/Italian ancestry and in my country the basic white stock is my combo, so I see Southern Euro phenotypes everyday, because of that I get kind of excited when I see West Asians/North Africans that resemble them.

I wasnt talking about people accusing me of cherrypicking . only a few idiots have accused me of cherrypicking . I am talking about the fact that many people have no clue what we look like and go by wrong ideas in their head which are often also caused by trolls talking nonsense

west asians have a bigger overlap with europe than north africans do btw. . just as a side note since you mention them

and from all the west asian groups Georgians are the ones that have the highest overlap with europe . you could even argue that they are quasi europeans

not that it matters ....just wanted to add

I thought many accused you of cherrypicking, but it's good that I'm wrong, they are a minority.
Could you post examples of how uniformed/ignorant people perceive the phenotypes of Kurdish people?

    "from kurdish to bengali"

    "eastern turkey to pakistan"

    etc.

there are also other and many more such nonsense statements all over the internet

it is just fucking ridiculous . look at us and then look at bengalis , and other south asians and compare . we are neither phenotypically and genetically worlds apart . I will never understand that bullshit tbh
