Ocoa is more homogenous than Espaillat. In Espaillat the demographics vary from campo to campo with the average overall leaning towards the Euro. My peeps town could easily scored +70% but then you have places like Paso de Moca which is supposed to be majority black (this according to my own family).

We also receive a lot of non-natives mainly from the coasts. At the same time a large portion of the original population have moved to Santiago and especially once they became middle class. Others have migrated to the USA.

I know some ocoeños here and they are very similar to Santiagueros. Maybe even slightly lighter because lot of the Santiagueros here don't have roots in the province. They are the descendants of people that migrated from others places.

Do you guys think Junior Guzman could pass for AA? I remember there was an argument about it on IG that went nuts.

    Funeral

How would you classify Junior Guzman's parents btw? The mother is from the capital (forgot the name of the barrio) and the dad from Monte Plata if that helps.

    Junior's sister.

    Junior's brother

    The asesinos:

    Other two suspects:

Kinda in some pictures but for the most part not really. Maybe a biracial or mixed Creole but the average AA not really.

Here is another superstar, Manny Machado from the San Diego Padres. He has the second highest contract in baseball history and the 5th sport one overall in the world. I am not sure where in the DR his peeps are from but he was born in Miami.

Here I present you the best Dominican pitcher in Major Leagues right now, Luis Severino from the New York Yankees. He was in his way to win his first Cy Young during the first half of the last season but something happened. In 2017 he finished 3rd place for that award. He is only 25.

José Ramírez was one of the three nominated for the MVP last season in his league. He was also nominated in 2017 (I remind you that there is only two leagues in baseball). José is also part of 30-30 club and a multiple silver slugger winner as well. He is from Peravia (Southern region).
