Hope this gives a good picture of what “Nilo-hamites” are. Isn’t there a better term to use other than “Nilo-hamites”? It seems old

Technically all Cushites are Nilo-Hamites to varying degrees, even Bejas/Sahos/Afars.

As for the term Hamitic. It's a perfectly fine term. It just refers to African Afro-Asiatic.

Abviously, I have other cushitic groups I’ve looked at like Rendilles and Iraqw, the fill in the gap btwn Cushites and Nilo-Hamites.
There is a beautiful Cline on PCA that aligns with geography and demographics. Exception being Tutsis.

But, u understand it’s implications of the past. It might be problematic to some if not most people.

I think the Maasaai samples you are using aren't accurate. The pca plots I've seen have the Maasai (excluding Samburu) plotting north of the Tutsis

They have Bantu admixed outliers. Their global pca range is almost as wide as those of the diverse African-Americans.

I think I know that PCA u talking about. It’s from here http://https://anthrogenica.com/show...t=Banyamulenge

What happened is I gave that guy a sample of two Banyamulenge and I’m not sure if that Masai is an individual or group average. They are not homogenous.
Check out the other PCA by Michalis-Moriopoulos that used individuals. It has a bigger Tutsi sample, it even group them by country of origin. Also got a good number of Masai
