    I and my uncle also have an Egyptian ancestor in the timeline. There has to be something off with that.

    Unless us Senegambian related people have some component in common with them, I'm really am at a loss as to what it could be.

    Yeah strange...I also have a Sudanese ancestor. Do you know how accurate ancestor timeline? Also, I'm suprised my Senegambian
    ancestor came in so late in the game. Why do they seperate Eygpt from North Africa in the sub groups?

    I'm wondering if my earliest colonial ancestors in CV were brancos di terra who mixed later.
    My uncle's(who I tested in place of my mom) MENA is 6.8 and he's 27.3 SSA... similiar to you.

    It's curious, the Ancestry Timeline seems to be more accurate for me now, since the last "pure" Old Worlder ancestor I had was a Spanish maternal great-grandfather (1885-1989) that came to the island during the early 1900's and they have sort of nailed his general timeline.

    @El Andullero

    That's quite a difference, or at least in the context of everything becoming much more specific. Decent sized chunk of North Euro for a Colonial Dominican, I'm seeing in an increase in that section for many Latinos. Tiny bits of Egyptian seems to be a common change for Latinos too, that's so odd(does this mean We Wuz Kangz? joking). There is also the addition of Central Asian/North Indian/etc, I have that in my trace region too, I'm curious if that's more Amerindian that overlapped.

    That's my opinion too (about the Central Asian), and I think @pgbk87 thought so too, but we would have to wait for him to make an appearance to ask again.

    This is also my theory for the Thai/Khmer/etc 0.1% I just got, another bleed over from ancient Amerindian similarity.

    Got my 2.0 results and it was a slight change from before, with Eastern European going up a fair bit along with Broadly European, and Southern European decreased. For me there was also an addition of a tiny bit of ME/NA which is interesting since I used to have a small amount that got taken away.

    My AJ 99% is similar to before but the remaining part switched to their new MENA categories
