Finnish army at Stockholm would be historically more accurate analogy. Then again, Sweden has allready cancelled their army because it's so cozy behind the big Finnish shoulders, just like allways. If we dont count Finnish victories for the Swedish flag, the book of Swedish military might is thick as Italian victories in WW2.

Your fear for Russia is misplaced.
I think people who have lived with Russians as next door neighbours for some centuries sees them a little differently.

I didn't read the original article, fully. But as far as I know, Sweden has helped Estonia in the 1990's, by giving us some (old) military equipment.

I have also never heard of any Estonians, who would call the Estonian people, Balts.

Sweden is also a big investor with many companies in the civil market in Estonia.

They should just petition to join Russia again. Small tribes have no business being independent.

Small Tribes? Sorry, but that is just wrong, Russia has no right to conquer any group of people just because they are small. You can't pull a Georgia on this one!

Estonia is Euro Zone now no way to leave.

I've known Russians and Estonians. Russians are a totally different personality, Russians are closed to new cultures,

you guys hate your own tribes like from the Caucaus mountains, and they are part of Russia!!, Maybe you should let them leave and join Estonia.

I think your people are trying to do the opposite, trying to join Estonia instead.

Estonia is quickly becoming westernized and they will not want to go back to being controlled by 5 guys in one building. Why do you think so many Russians are running to live in Estonia?

That being said I love Russian culture, but I don't like what you just said at all.

This is the funniest thing I've heard for a long time. Sweden taking care of Finland's defence. It's the eastern one of the two with a white flag with a blue cross that is Finland, not the other way around! There might be some truth in that, however. Maybe Swedes have promised to defend Finland from the Norwegians if we take care of Russia
